Our Story
Noticing that so many kids are under pressure at school due to the expectation to perform well academically and socially, we saw a need to create a space where kids could learn, yet have fun at the same time; where they could feel safe and cherished, and in so doing give the parents the peace of mind that their kids are being well equipped to deal with the demands of school and life.
With this is mind, Horizon Tuition Centre was envisioned. It is a tranquil and homely space that offers students inspiration to study and explore. The experienced tutors encourage our students to be curious, build confidence and become self-motivated .
Along with academic achievement, we believe that a strong self-esteem is the foundation of success. Teaching is our calling; the inspiration we have to recognise the abilities of each child, as well as the compassion and capability to help them develop to their full potential.
Tailor-made tuition Services
Homeschool students: All subjects from Grade R – Grade 12, accommodating all curriculums
School students: Grade R – Grade 12, all subjects including Afrikaans, Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Economics and Management Sciences, English, Latin Ballroom Dance, Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, Piano and music theory and homework assistance.
Fees
Investments vary between R60 and R180 per hour depending on the grade, subject and length of sessions.
